Coach Sawtelle
Mike Sawtelle grew up in Erie, PA, where he graduated from Fairview High School in 1980. A talented competitive athlete, Sawtelle attended West Virginia University on a wrestling scholarship. After graduating in 1986 with a B.S. in Health/Physical Education and Safety Studies, Mike began his career in education and athletic coaching, earning tremendous success in coaching girl's volleyball. In 2007, he was inducted into the Fairview High School Sports Hall of Fame.
Coach Sawtelle, his wife Lisa and their four children live in South Florida.
